When FSBO Fizzles Out!

If you have tried to sell your home yourself and have struck out, never fear!  We have a plan that can help you meet your real estate goals quicker than you think!  The main issue with most For Sale By Owner, or “FSBO” properties, is one of exposure.  The property is often not shown at its best, and tends to miss out on the larger audience that can be created as a result of professional marketing.   And sometimes, when a seller comes to us for help, we’ve got a bit of property reputation restoration to do!  It can be a challenge to erase the perceptions of a home that’s been seen at the wrong price, or in less than ideal circumstances but we have some great tools to make your listing look shiny and new again!  Here are a few “before and after” photos to help give you an idea of the difference between the marketing efforts of a For Sale by Owner, and our professional marketing approach.

Case in point, this adorable, and well built 2007 Svelte (not skinny!) Craftsman home in the popular Woodstock neighborhood, made her debut in a strong seller’s market, yet was not successful in generating an accepted offer when sold by owner.  Our client then came to us for assistance, and followed our system in terms of cleaning, staging (a service we provide as part of our listing fee), and pricing, and voila, he just closed on the sale of this property.
