A repeat client contacted me a few months ago with energy in her voice and a gleam in her eye. I know that gleam all too well – she was DETERMINED. She had found a property in disrepair in Nehalem that she had fallen in love with and wanted to invest in it. The house had come on the market and she was set to call it her own. Already familiar with the coastal area, she was not looking for a beachfront property. She wanted this wooded cabin-like property so she could be tucked away from tourists on the coastal range yet remain within an easy drive of all her favorite spots on the coast. This Nehalem location offers just that.
A Portland local but currently living out of town, she entrusted me to handle the details and represent her interests. Keeping in constant contact, we fluidly kept the transaction in order. Working in areas outside of Portland can be a fun endeavor. There is a different pace on the coast and one must adapt to the pattern of communication and workflow.
Today we closed on this property for my client and I am excited for her to undertake this newest endeavor – to create a wooded retreat in a coastal area she can call her second home.
