Anika Stephen loves real estate. In 2006, she began working in property management and support services for a boutique brokerage in Los Angeles. Inspired to serve the brokerage’s fantastic clients, Anika obtained her California real estate license, and worked as a licensed assistant until graduate school took her to the east coast. When she was through with her studies, she returned to real estate in Georgia. She joined a top mid-century modern and design-focused brokerage in Atlanta and hasn’t looked back. She loves what she does.

Anika loves to learn. She holds two B.A. degrees from universities in California and an M.A. degree from Gallaudet University in D.C. Her thirst for knowledge and penchant for research lend themselves well to real estate, making her a comprehensive and thorough broker. Anika has lived in multiple cities, both in the U.S. and abroad, making her sensitive to the emotions involved in buying or selling a home, and adept at understanding the real estate market wherever she may be. She gets it.

Anika loves love. She followed her heart to Portland and ended up falling head over heels for this amazing city. Now she shares her excitement about the Pacific Northwest with her clients while providing them the highest level of service. She loves where she lives.

Anika loves women-owned businesses, ethical companies, relationship building, fostering vibrant communities, and doing everything with joy. That is why she chose Living Room Realty. She loves where she works.

Whether deciding to move on from a cherished home, or search for a new place to make their own, Anika’s clients are in good hands. Whatever your real estate needs may be, Anika would love to work with you!

What Anika’s clients have to say:

“Being first-time home-buyers in Portland, we heard plenty of horror stories about everything that could go wrong, but working with Anika was a dream! She explained the process clearly, answered all our questions, and provided lots of resources and advice. She was always quick to respond to our calls, emails, and texts, and checked in with us frequently just to reassure us that things were moving along as they should be. Even with our small-ish budget and strict lending requirements, Anika made us feel like we were her only clients. She was never pushy or sales-y, unlike some of the other realtors we met with before Anika. She made the process as easy and stress-free as buying a first house could possibly be.” – Tyler & Emily S.

“It was such a pleasure to work with Anika. I had spoken with a few other realtors before getting in touch with her and none of them showed the professionalism that she did. She was extremely personable and helpful, and made what could be a very lengthy and difficulty process very smooth for me. She was always accessible by phone or email and worked extremely hard to make sure I ended up with the home that I loved!” – Jonathan N.

Anna and Ezra’s search for a home was a bumpy one. What began as casual browsing, in case the right home came along, quickly turned into a race against the calendar. Just one month into working with Anna and Ezra, they found themselves faced with a 90-day no-cause eviction. As if home hunting in this... More

One afternoon in February, my phone rang. It was Carrie, calling me from Texas. She and her husband Eric were looking to buy in Portland, and she’d heard that the market here was crazy (which is was!). While they weren’t really planning to buy and move until next year, she wanted to start her... More
