I love real estate, plain and simple. From its ability to provide foundation for family and community, to its value as an investment vehicle, my job is more than just land and buildings. My job is to listen to you, learn what you want, and help you to achieve it. Whether residential or commercial, buying, selling, or leasing, I will make sure you understand the process and walk away happy. Licensed since 2004, with a background in project management and counseling, I am able to keep all parts of your transaction coordinated and talk you through any stressful times.
Originally from New York, I hopped a Greyhound bus to Oregon at 18 with a backpack and skateboard seeking a more relaxed way of life. Portland allows me to be who I am without pretense and hold true to my values. My community involvement has given me the opportunity to raise scholarship funds, mentor students, help seniors stay in their homes, and much more. One of my most treasured possessions is my 2005 Rotarian of the Year Award which is awarded for the highest level of service to the community. When not working or volunteering, I can be found on the racquetball courts or cooking with my family.

“I knew Howard through some community work we were doing together, so I asked him to submit a proposal for selling our house. We knew the market was hot, and wanted to get in there before more properties came on the market in our neighborhood. Howard came in as if he didn’t know us, explained very clearly what he thought our house could command and why, and how to maximize that potential. After comparing his plan to a couple of other realtors, we felt like he had the best plan to get us the return we wanted.He helped us work on what repairs and touch-ups to do to make it look as nice as possible. He explained what was going to happen when and why, and had us work with an admin at the main office to coordinate paperwork and the like. All in all, the process was smooth and as painless as possible.
Even more importantly, he managed to find a buyer who was frustrated with bidding wars and was willing to pay well over market to secure his spot and wrap up the process early. He stayed in close contact all through the offer, escrow, and inspection processes and subsequent negotiations, and Howard even came to closing.
