Aaron Hartman is a long-time Portlander with a deep understanding of the neighborhoods and architecture that make this town such a special place to live.
Whether he’s helping you locate your dream house or helping you sell the one you already own, Aaron’s knowledge, energy and laser-like attention to detail will make your real estate process make sense.
Aaron has been involved in the Northwest independent music community for nearly two decades. He has traveled all over the place and always looks forward to coming home to the best city to live in Portland, Oregon.
My husband and I hired Aaron as our realtor in the process of finding and buying a home in Portland, OR.
Our goal was to find our forever home (30+ years) within the city limits. That made us nervous as we come from a state where the market isn't nearly as fast or aggressive and we were worried we wouldn't match up to others offering on homes. Aaron was not only reassuring but he was a breath of fresh air during a stressful and life-altering process. He was always honest with us and very thorough when walking through potential homes. When we found our dream home (and trust me, it's our dream home) he made everything feel so easy with the closing process. He stayed 100% involved every step of the way and in some cases went, I feel, above and beyond to ensure our best interest was met. It's obvious that he cares about what he does and cares about his clients. My husband and I would recommend him again and again.
Aaron was incredibly diligent, patient and generous throughout our whole search.. We sincerely enjoyed working with him. His assistance turned a stressful process into an exciting one. Thank you so much Aaron, for helping us find such a wonderful home!

My boyfriend and I had an excellent experience with Aaron at Living Room Realty. . We were originally trying to find a rental property online, on our own, but were having an extremely difficult time finding a place that met all our qualifications. And we were running out of time, with only a couple days before our scheduled flight out to Portland. We called Aaron and he was able to find us a beautiful, dog friendly house with a yard, in a lovely neighborhood close to everything we wanted, for a better price than we could have imagined! He was very professional, listened to our needs, and worked quickly with the limited time we gave him. Since Aaron knew we were new to town, he also showed us properties in multiple areas of town, so we could get a feel for the different neighborhoods. He even recommended a couple great restaurants to try while we were there! Prior to this experience, I never thought it was worth it to go through a realtor to find a rental property, but now I highly recommend it. Aaron took the stress out of our situation and made our first experience in Portland a great one! We definitely plan on working with him again in the future, for all our renting/buying/selling needs.
My spouse and I would not have our current apartment in Portland, Oregon if it wasn’t for Aaron at Living Room Realty.. Aaron managed to give us an honest appraisal of the apartment and the type of people hired as property managers, along with sending us some photos and detailed descriptions of the building and the quality of care taken to upkeep the property as well as the unit that interested us. Since the apartment was only available for walk-in/by-appointment renters in Portland, it was VITAL to have Aaron on the ground and in person to build a relationship with our prospective landlords and secure us the unit by being the 1st-in-line to view the listing prior to the Open House renters seeing the apartment. I highly recommend using a relocation specialist when moving to Portland, Oregon and would certainly recommend Aaron Hartman at Living Room Realty to anyone I know moving to the city sight-unseen.
