The Living Room Realty Alberta Arts office is home to a quarterly rotating art gallery. This space is programmed by Dulcinea Myers-Newcomb, a licensed broker in Oregon. Past artists include Trish Grantham, Chris Haberman, and more!

Living Room Realty is excited to partner with NW Film Center to bring video and sound artists to the window gallery. NWFC is providing the current programming for 2016.

The Light+Sound Window Gallery is a unique exhibition space dedicated to showing new media by local, contemporary artists—namely video, film and digital art. The window gallery is located at 1401 NE Alberta Street in Portland, Oregon, and is viewable daily from dusk till dawn. Living Room Realty is proud to provide exhibition space for artists who work in video and film. We understand the importance of contemporary art and believe that a strong Arts community is a fundamental component of a healthy city.

Established in 1971, the Northwest Film Center is a regional media arts resource and service organization founded to encourage the study, appreciation, and utilization of the moving image arts, foster their artistic and professional excellence, and to help create a climate in which they may flourish. The Center provides a variety of film and video exhibition, education, and information programs primarily directed to the residents of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

Light+Sound Gallery is curated by Gavin Shettler, a licensed broker in Oregon.

Local boutique Woonwinkel is a Portland, Oregon-based shop owned by two women with a passion for independent designers, simple forms, and gorgeous color. They carry home goods and gifts from all over the world, most of it created by individuals and itty bitty companies. It’s also a big favorite of ours. By the way, woonwinkel means “living shop” in... More

Andrew and Katie started their home search resigned to probably having to live east of 82nd.  They wanted to find a house with enough bedrooms to be able to take their roommates with them, although it didn’t really matter what style of house.  We started looking at fixers but they quickly realized that they... More

A monolith made of basalt. Formed from lava flows over 15 million years ago. 235′ tall. As seen in famous Oregon movies “The Goonies” and “Sometimes a Great Notion”. Mesmerizing. Awesome. Spectacular. I love this place. More

With the long rainy winter upon us and many dark days ahead, those of us with wee ones have more hours to fill indoors. So how do we keep our bundles of joy happy and entertained without us low-key losing our minds? I recommend spending some time at the Portland Art Museum at their latest... More

Isn’t that the old expression? Growing up, this term was thrown around quite a bit in our house. My father is a landscape architect and for years, our yard came in dead last. He owns and operates a sizable company and creates beautiful designs all over my hometown, but like many business owners, he found... More

Work-Life Balance LOL

(Actual sunset from yesterday pictured above. I mean…) Work-life balance, amiright? I’m typing this from my laptop on vacation. Why bring it? Because even though it’s the first family vacation we’ve taken in 6 years, I need to work. But it’s even more complicated because I WANT to work. I’m in the midst of several... More
