Portland has always been a place for artsy folk. Yes, the rent isn’t what it used to be and the bars have been generally cleaned up, but still, it’s a pretty great place to be a maker/artist/musician. I recently helped a couple of rad musicians from Chicago find their new home here in Portland, and we are incredibly lucky to be adding their talents into the mix!
Lisle and Kristine were recommended to me by our mutual friends, Rob and Leah. They were looking for a cute home for them to start their life in Portland. It was a whirlwind day of touring, as they flew in town just to view potential homes. We found a total gem in the Beaumont neighborhood, just blocks away from all the goods on upper Fremont. A sweet updated Tudor with a great backyard and lots of room for band practice.
Their band, Tiny Fireflies, is a super cool retro synth pop band, and it started as a collaboration between Lisle and Kristine’s separate bands. It worked, so they kept at it!
