Today we had the pleasure of closing on a property in St. John’s. While I do not go North into St. John’s very often ( I am usually found in my natural habitat of the Sabin neighborhood ), there is one reward that makes it worthwhile. The delight I feel everytime I view my favorite mural, the gorgeous work of dear friend Carson Ellis. She designed the lovely mural that brightens-up the side of the Grocery Outlet as you head into the heart of St. John’s.
I also love the connection of this neighborhood to the children’s book series she and her husband created, the Wildwood Chronicles. I look forward to being able to read their imaginative tales to my granddaughter when she is older. For now, we will just look at the pretty illustrations.
