After 18 MONTHS, 6 delays and endless patience on their part these wonderful buyers finally got their keys!!
The son of one of my oldest friends from Jr. High and his lovely wife fell in love with some new construction out in wine country. While they knew that it would take awhile for a brand new home to be built, the permit process took far longer than we anticipated causing a chain reaction of delays that put us well over the year mark. Our patience was tried multiple times, but the buyers were able to roll with things in a way I’ve never seen. I kept texting my friend (his mom) and thanking her for raising such an even keeled son! But at the end of the day they have a beautiful home and are so excited to get moved in and settled down with a new litter of puppies that were born during the final delay. I’m just not sure which will keep them busier…the house or the dogs! 🙂
