Settling Down in Portland

By Living Room Realty, July 2, 2019

Three years ago C & E moved to Portland seeking a better quality of life for their young family. With luck on their side they found a great rental home in NW Portland and began to relax into the neighborhood, school and community. As their family grew and their ties to the community strengthened they knew it was time to find a permanent home of their own.

When we began to search for a house they hoped to stay within a few blocks of their rental home but soon realized they may have to consider a slightly larger range. We maxed out at a quarter of a mile radius. Luckily the stars aligned and within a few weeks a new listing popped up in close by Arlington Heights. The large family home with views of the city and walking distance to Washington Park & Hoyt Arboretum was the perfect blend of nature and urban living.

Now C & E get to enjoy their summer relaxing on their deck and watching their kids play it the yard. Just the scenario they hoped for when they made the move three years ago.
