Laura and Patrick were in no hurry. They had paid their house off but still liked it. The thoughts kept coming. They wanted to upgrade…nicer house, nicer neighborhood, and a view of the mountains! The house had to be just right. With patience and a little luck we found it for them, but it was a bit of a long road of discovery and learning. First, they got into contract on a home in Milwaukie. The yard was way too big and the house in the end wasn’t right for them. Then they tried a fixer in Rose City Heights. After inspections it was just too much work! They then were lured into a back up offer on a great house in SW with an amazing view of the river and mountains. It turned out this house was not to be. The sellers used Laura and Patrick’s offer just as leverage to play hardball with their other offer. Low down! Laura and Patrick had given up hope. They started in on more improvements to their own home when suddenly, the perfect house appeared on the market. Located blocks up the hill from the backup offer house, this was it! They were also blessed with super nice sellers to boot. We got into contract and made it happen. Congratulations Pat and Laura!
