If you didn’t know, Jake has been doing remodels around Portland. Word has gotten around and people are starting to take notice. This is exciting on numerous levels, and has opened our business up. Not only are we better REALTORS®, but our clients are now seeing opportunities to invest and remodel with us. One of Jake’s partner’s friend on the flip side reached out not too long ago to start looking at fixers themselves. We’re REALTORS® first, and investors second, so whenever anything we loved came on the market, it was first sent to them.
The home we ended up finding, our client actually sent our way. It was listed by a former Living Room agent and it had JUST hit the market. We immediately went in to take a look and today we’re closing! Going to be honest, this is our first time working with a client going through everything we’ve done in the remodel side. It’s going to be a balance – advising, but giving them enough room to add their creative touches. We’re truly excited to see what we can do together!
