The Award for Patience

Being patient is the understanding that you’re continuously growing closer to getting what you want. In real estate, the need for patience comes in various ways. Sometimes, in a cooler market, it’s understanding that your priced-just-right home might sit for awhile before finding the right buyer. In any market buyers enjoy the process more if they understand that their future home may take a while to track down. The prize for patience? The place we land you will be worth the wait.

Years ago my good friends Emily & Zack moved to Portland from California, and thankfully asked me to help them buy! We found them a gorgeous condo at The Cambridge in NW Portland. Since then, as many of my friends and myself have done, they’ve added a new family member. For them, this meant it was time to find more space, a backyard, and a different lifestyle than the condo could provide. We got to work listing their Cambridge condo and on the journey the two decided they wanted to be the first owners of a brand new build.
