Roseway: First Time Home Buyers

By Living Room Realty, November 24, 2019

Corey and Laura just purchased their very first home in Roseway. A lovely 1920s bungalow with original build ins and distinctive  quirks. It is exactly what they were looking for and nothing makes me happier than having helped them reach their goal.

I met Corey at the end of summer through the recommendation of one of my favorite friends. As soon as I met him, I felt the inescapable desire to help him in any way I could. He was a neophyte in anything related to real estate, so I focused on education and on devising a step by step plan to be ready when the right opportunity came.

By the beginning of fall I met his lovely wife, Laura, and the three of us started the search process. As we spent time together, I discovered what made them excited and narrowed down their priorities in terms of location, budget and home features. When their dream home showed up, they were ready to make a strong offer that was quickly accepted by the friendly seller.

There were a few repairs that needed to be negotiated. However, we reached agreement thanks to the two parties being willing to work with each other with a “can do” attitude.

As a result, Corey and Laura got the keys of their new charming home and they are ready to start a new life as homeowners.
