Johns Landing may be my favorite neighborhood in all of Portland. Immediately south of downtown, it’s right against a beautiful stretch of the Willamette, close to the Springwater Trail and bordered by beautiful green Riverview Cemetery to the south, which is close to Tryon Creek State Park: you can bike, boat, kayak, hike without getting into your car. I persuaded Noah to buy a townhouse there when he was single and he has had two happy years there. He would happily have stayed but a fine young woman who’s family is in Oregon City persuaded him that life would be much easier if they lived closer to her family, and so today he is packing up and moving to the outer suburbs. We now wish new owners Jason & Patrick many happy years here.
