A Moment Of Pride In Our City…

By Chad Meier, June 10, 2020

Our company occasionally advertises the fact that, despite being far from the largest real estate concern in Portland, we are PDX’s No. 1 brokerage (in various categories) on the east side of the Willamette. This is no small part due to the fact that a majority of our people live right here in the city proper. We know this town inside & out, because we embody it!

On that note, I’d like to take a moment away from all things real estate, to congratulate the students in my son’s senior class at Cleveland High School (and all of our PPS schools) for a job well done during what can only be considered a challenging time like no other. Wow! Years of hard work unexpectedly ending on a Friday the 13th school shutdown, and culminating yesterday in a drive-through graduation ceremony that was equal parts painful and beautiful to witness. I believe this period in our nation’s history will have an indelible impact on our world’s future, and I am so proud of the young people who will now take the examples of humanity we “adults” have recently shown them (for better & worse) to find a better path forward.

Speaking personally, my son Jakob and his crew (pictured) are rolling elegantly with the punches. I couldn’t be more proud!

Go CHS Warriors!
