From the ground up

By Living Room Realty, June 18, 2020

For an engineer, moving into a new house is a decision that starts long before actually seeing homes in person and making an offer. Planning, strategizing and coordinating are in place. The timing and duration of construction are carefully scrutinized to line up with the listing and sale of the current home and the start of the next school year.

PUMP BRAKES.

Plans and timelines altered, construction meetings postponed and done virtually.

Despite these modifications and alterations, the delay was slight, and the new home took shape: framing, a roof, customized bumped-out garage, hard surface floors throughout, unique pocket doors in the office.  The kitchen! cabinets to the ceiling, convection cooktop stove. It was better than all the planning had imagined.
