What a great learning experience! In the midst of the Covid pandemic my sellers, both of whom are healthcare workers, wanted to sell and search for their dream home. As my first home listing in Milwaukie I had many questions to answer: do people desire Milwaukie as much as Portland? what kind of marketing will make this work? what expectations will the sellers have knowing that they were supposed to marry this spring and now it’s up in the air?. I learned so much about myself, this area, and my business while selling this home.
It was the biggest and nicest home on the block and it was 1 of 4 homes on that same block that were for sale. As soon as we went on the market we had multiple calls, multiple showings (with safety precautions in place), and sustained high interest. We were under contract in 2 days with agents calling about back up, cash offers, etc while be in pending status.
