Hidden amongst the leafy streets of the Laurelhurst neighborhood in Portland is a little secret called Oak Street. If you take a little jaunt down Oak Street, you might almost miss how special this place is. If you look carefully, you’ll find that that on south side are front yards that have a full TWENTY feet of yard between the street and the houses, no driveways, and an alley in the back. It’s front yard forever and ever, with zero fences. On the north side of the street, it’s back yard forever and ever, and a total hidden paradise extending a full 140 feet in the back (standard lots are typically 100 feet). This particularly cool house, held in the same family for over 50 years is ready for my super sweet buyers to walk in and make it theirs’ this week! The coolest part? A giant Oak tree in the back! Portland is a fascinating place, and truly makes me stop and think about how in the world this great City was originally platted out.
