We met with Adrienne and Tanner over a Zoom meeting and hit the ground running to find their home keeping in mind that they only had 2 months to find it and secure it. Their lease was ended and they were hoping to find their home and not have to renew it. We told them that we can move as fast as they want to so got hopping like a bunny bolting for cover. Low and behold the first home we toured was amazing and they wrote an offer right away and soon found ourselves coming in 3rd place out of 9 other offers.
After that, it felt like things came to a complete halt. And then what seem like a beautiful bubble arriving out of thin air, came a prospective home that dropped its price magically into their price range. We were all over it to avoid the multiple offer scenario if we could avoid it. Our offer was accepted! We cruised on to the inevitable inspections. There were definitely some show stoppers, but Tanner and Adrienne did not loose hope. We assured them that we could aid them in researching the cost using contractors we work closely with and this could serve them well during negotiations, and it did. We negotiated foundation repairs, a repipe and drainage repairs for the entire home.
What a win for them. Not only did they receive a major concession, they were also able to meet their goal of closing on a home before the end of August. Mission accomplished.
