Little Besties for the Win!

By Living Room Realty, September 10, 2020

After completing a multi-year renovation on their 100+ year old Victorian, John and Dannielle decided it was time for a change. They now had two children and needed their home to function in a way that better met the needs of their young family. They thought this time they would go for something that was “done” or at least close enough to done so as to save their weekends for things other than tiling their bathroom or caring for their exploding edible garden. But then a beautiful old English style home popped up right across the street from Alberta Park. Dreams of letting their two children running through the park together as they could watch from their front steps, or of their oldest daughter eventually walking to Vernon Elementary hand in hand with her forever bestie who lived down the street quickly override the desire for a project free house. For this location they would be willing to spend weekends hauling in construction materials into their home as they took turns playing with their kids and dog across the street under the giant fir trees. To them this was the dream they didn’t know existed until they saw this one little old house.

Congratulations John and Dannielle!
