With COVID increasing the desire to get out of the city and live in a small beach community, housing inventory has literally dried up to the point of non-existent. Now the vacant lots are starting to sell as people are building. If you have a vacant lot, now is a great time to sell. If you were going to buy an old beach fixer, now is the time to pull out the stops and just build the exact home you really dreamed about retiring to at the beach. The big added advantage is as remote working is gaining in popularity. Maybe it is time to pull the plug and get out of the city for good.
