Navigating Turbulence

By Living Room Realty, November 23, 2020

Transactions can be full of bumps on the way toward closing. One of my coworkers told me that as a real estate broker, he feels like a pilot flying the plane safely to landing. Some flights may be smooth, but more often than not, there is turbulence along the way. The job of the agent is to navigate the plane through the turbulence and make the trip as smooth as possible for the client. I really like this analogy, especially since my grandpa was a pilot, and found it very fitting for the sale of SW Upper Aldercrest. From a low appraisal, to difficulty with completing repairs, this transaction took the cooperation of the seller, buyer and real estate agents. Everyone continued the journey determined to land the plane. With the cooperating agent as my copilot, we navigated a bumpy ride and landed the plane successfully. When you do hit turbulence, it really pays off to have expertise and experience to get you safely to your final destination.
