My wonderful buyer, Stephanie has been patiently awaiting completion of her 3 bed/3.1 bath townhome after selling her previous home in November. Today we closed the purchase of her great new construction home in the Tabor/Hawthorne district. I do believe we got it right and it was well worth the wait–this place is BEAUTIFUL!
My business is rooted largely in vintage housing stock so I’m not one to normally gush over new construction, however this one deserves special mention. With it’s architectural design, thoughtful touches and attention to detail, the result is one beauty of a custom home. A big shout out to Rich at Bluestone Homes and Colby with Stratified Solutions who along with the list agent, Tom were a great team.
Stephanie gets the keys later today and couldn’t be more pleased. She waited to find the right place and she succeeded. I do believe this home will serve her for many years to come and that just delights me! On a related side note, I’m certain that she already has great neighbors in the vintage bungalow across the street…that home is occupied by a terrific past client, Laura, who purchased the house some 22 plus (gulp!) years ago. Laura also took the time she needed to get the right place–so much so that she actually checks in with me every now and then to see if anyone has broken her two year long home search record (she still holds the title). What I love about Laura’s longevity at her home is what I aim and hope for with a client–securing them a house that will serve them for a long time to come.
