How do you find a grand, architecturally rich home in southwest Portland with the walking dynamics of an Irvington Grand Dame? Well, the first part of the answer is “with patience” and normally that is an integral component of such a home search. But, in the case of my clients M & G, one of the most amazing homes in SW Portland entered the market early in our search and we locked it down. If you had asked me to place a bet regarding how long it would have taken to find a home like this I would have said 3-6 months in this market (record low inventories.) But it took just weeks and now as we close out their amazing chapter at 2426 NE 16th, they can enjoy this milestone and fully embrace their new lives in southwest. With multiple offers the price escalated to well over asking and with great collaboration from the buyers’ camp we have now completed this textbook sale.
