Going Dutch

By Living Room Realty, April 20, 2021

Sometimes you find a house that has everything you need and sometimes you’re like Nancy and Sue. Nancy and Sue were starting their family and life by buying their first home together. Nancy, having lived 18 years in a contemporary home and Sue being accustomed to homes in Pennsylvania, knew a renovation might be in their future. With the help of contractors they saw their vision of “Dutch Colonial,” come alive. The homes interior was not ideal, but it’s bones were solid, said Nancy. Repurposing the stairs and adding a window- filled conservatory onto the kitchen made for a lighter, brighter hub of the home. All in all an enjoyable experience for the couple who after years of enjoying, “Going Dutch,” passed the torch onto the next family that would relish in a friendly neighborhood and location, location, location. James Peterson paid homage to Nancy and Sue finding the perfect buyer to continue the legacy of the, “Dutchie.”
