Its not very often you can say this, in this market. These most amazing clients have 2 children and they were all cramped into a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house. And we all know what happens when you are in close quarters with lots of people in a pandemic… you need more space. So, they found this house that had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths; room for the whole family. AND Miracle of miracles, we negotiated the sales price down by 65,000. There was one “small/major” hiccup. During the inspection, we discovered the whole sewer line needed to be replaced, all 340 feet of it. We got bids between 40K and 80K but because both buyer and seller were reasonable, we were able to negotiate this and now my client has a shiny new sewer line. I am so happy they have more space & the wife has such a vision for the house and I cant wait to see what she does with it.
