A Sellers Market and a Contingent Offer

For my clients, their home buying process was a huge step in multiple ways. Buying their first home together meant merging two households into one, and merging two families too. Before we knew it, the ball was rolling. My clients had found a home they loved and it was time to strategize. We had two homes to sell and one to buy, and there were several different options and paths they could take moving forward. Ultimately, we decided to go for a contingent offer!
In such a high seller’s market, contingent offers can be even trickier. They can be seen as undesirable due to the whole offer relying on another portion of the puzzle coming into place, but we decided to try our hand and write an offer based on the sale of one of my client’s homes. With a lot of communication with the other agent, a good strategy, and a strong offer, we found success! Moving quickly to hold up our end of the bargain, we got one of my clients’ homes ready to sell. In a very short time on the market, we accepted an offer!
The pieces of the puzzle slowly made their way together and we have just closed on the sale of one home and the purchase of their first home together! Congratulations to my clients, I am so excited for you all.
