Sue and her mom Rita wanted to downsize from their home of many years when Sue found the charming SE community of Wade Park Estates. They had looked at a unit for sale but it was on the upper floor and they wanted a single level. She kept finding reasons for driving by and saw the sign for the downstairs unit next door just about a week later, and gave me a call. Although the demand for condos is not as strong as for single-family homes in Portland right now, both women wanted to move as quickly as possible to make sure they got this unit. Buying a home takes a lot of time and energy, but they were up for the task and we managed to get them under contract within a day or two.
The condo layout is perfect for them, as they each have plenty of personal and communal space. They both love the stunning view from their new living room with a double set of sliding doors overlooking the duck pond. What a joy this one was!
