Great Investment

By Living Room Realty, December 20, 2021

Hi had the pleasure of helping some long time real estate investors purchase an incredible house in 2018! It was an old victorian home with a separate free standing home behind it on the same lot….and right in the heart of the hot Buckman neighborhood. It was a great investment and generated great rental income for them for nearly 4 years. A couple of months ago, they came to me to say they were ready to sell it and simplify their portfolio. At the time, the front house tenants had just moved out, and we all felt this was the right time to put it on the market. It can be challenging to sell a property with tenants in the home. We kept the front house vacant, staged it, and marketed the homes to investors, generational buyers, and home owners looking for an immediate primary home with a rental property included. We hit the market, had some showings, a busy open house, and boom, we were pending with multiple offers in just 3 days. And to make things even sweeter, the current buyers were excited to move in to the front house, and take over the current lease of the back house. It was the ultimate win-win situation! We had a super smooth transaction where everyone involved was wonderful and collaborative. We had a few hiccups along the way, but we all worked together to problem solve our way around it. Everything is closed, and everyone is happy!
