SW Portland Real Estate Guide: The 4T Adventure

By Sharon Marciniak (Bloudek), March 26, 2024

Hop on the Trail, Tram, Trolley, and Train!

Ready to immerse yourself in the essence of Portland? Embark on an eight-mile journey through our eclectic city with the family-friendly 4T Trail Loop. You and your family can meander through some of our team’s favorite SW Portland neighborhoods, blending transportation modes and trails for a uniquely Portland experience.

Start off at the Oregon Zoo with a brisk hike ascending a trail to the heights of Council Crest Park (T #1). This is the highest point in the city at 1,073 feet above sea level! Then glide effortlessly downhill for 3,300 linear feet aboard the Portland Aerial Tram (T #2). After your descent, you’re right where you need to be to hop on the trolley (aka, the Portland Streetcar) toward downtown Portland (T #3). Take your time to savor the sights and flavors, pausing to indulge in the diverse culinary offerings from an array of restaurants, cafés, and food carts scattered along the way. To finish up your adventure, grab a MAX light rail train back to your starting point at the zoo (T #4). Since this adventure truly is a loop, you can start from any of these four points so pick your favorite and get moving!

And if a Southwest Portland neighborhood captures your heart during your adventure, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at 503-701-1000 or sharon@bridgetoportland.com. I’ll be your guide, ready to share insider insights and help you uncover opportunities to make it your own.

Wishing you joyous trails and Portland discoveries!
