Close observation of the natural world is a constant source of inspiration to me. I photograph flowers that interest me and choose my favorite images to paint. Using the photos as a reference, I paint with the intent to reflect the gesture and details of the individual flowers. My utmost desire, however, is to capture the sublime beauty inherent in the flowers.
