Small-Business Owners Name the Best Tools and Resources They’ve Invested In

By Living Room Realty, July 18, 2018

Making the right investment in your small business can mean the difference between growth and stagnation. Forbes Magazine sat down with several entrepreneurs, including Living Room Founder and Owner Jenelle Isaacson, to hear about their best business investment from the past year.

Jenelle considers employees the top asset for her service-based business, and has found various ways to invest in them. “We invest in our people by sending them to executive trainings and paying for membership to peer-to-peer organizations that support executives’ personal and professional development,” she notes.

The agency also offers all staff members an education credit of a few thousand dollars to take business or personal interest classes. “We don’t say ‘no’ to any request for learning because we feel if our employees are able to pursue their passions and what brings them joy, they are more likely to be productive and stay with a company that supports them as whole beings,” says Isaacson.
