Living on the Oregon Coast is a dream had by many people. With the rising cost of homes in Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler, it has become almost impossible for young families and people working in the local economy. However dreams do come true. Sellers Tom and Cynthia had a small second home on a third of an acre just a mile out of town. They had enjoyed weekends and fishing on the Nehalem River for many years, but decided it was time to sell. It is always fun to have a home priced under $200,000 as the Buyers are waiting and jump on the opportunity. My experience is if the home was well maintained, it will fly off the market. This is just what happened. It went to a great young couple who grew up in the area. It is so nice to see someone get their foot in the door and have the opportunity remain close to family and friends.
