I met Walter and Jessica at an open house last summer along with their adorable 4-year-old daughter they call “Bean”. We hit it off right away when Jessica and I realized we both grew up in IA! They had just sold their home in CA and were attempting to decide if OR or CO would be the right place to put roots down. They had been staying in an Air BnB to get the feel of the Beaverton area and had not yet been to CO. Their plan was to travel there within a couple weeks, spend some time there and make a decision about where they ultimately would settle. We exchanged numbers and I followed up every couple weeks to check on them.
They ultimately decided Beaverton was THE spot and we started in earnest to find them a home.
Fast forward six months and they found their perfect next home and are sooooo excited to have their own space again. Walter is home-based and they were able to be creative with finding financing in spite of his self-employment. Happy ending and so excited I got to be a small part of their next chapter.
