I would like to say that I picked Property Management, but the truth is, it chose me!I started out in this industry, kinda by accident. I had no clue what was in store for me and I happened to stumble upon the job I was born to do.
I started out in the student housing branch of property management across the street from the University of Oregon. I lived onsite and helped students and parents to navigate finding their very first apartment away from home. It was a fun and exciting entrance into this industry, and I learned so much about problem-solving and roommate mitigation.
Soon I was able to move into the next phase of my career-Multifamily! This is where I stayed for the next 6 years. Learning all I could about landlord-tenant law, I found that I loved every minute of it. Each situation was a challenge to turn a possible bad interaction into a positive one.
Now that I am approaching my 10-year mark in this industry here in Oregon, I have found my home here at Living Room. I am so happy to be a leader in a company that values integrity and that has set the standard for what property management should be.
I get to do the job I love and still maintain my own values! I couldn’t ask for more!
On a personal note, I am a proud Mom of one teenage daughter, Brooklyn, and one spoiled French bulldog, Bella. My husband Matt and I, love being a part of all things PNW, and we especially love to fish!
