Iris began her career in 1990 as a receptionist for a real estate and mortgage company in Sonoma County, CA. With ambition and tenacity, she learned everything she could about the business, working her way through the ranks from loan processor to Operations Manager for four offices. In 1997 she focused her career on real estate finance, becoming one of the most respected loan processors in her region.
In 1998, Iris switched gears and assisted her (former) husband in launching and running a residential painting company, which allowed her to stay home with her son, born in 1999. In 2003, Iris reconnected with a former colleague and signed up to run his real estate and mortgage office.
After the mortgage meltdown in 2008, Iris retuned to school to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Management. She and her partner were transferred to Southern California where she began work in property management, taking on a portfolio of 128 homes and condos. In 2013 Iris and her partner were transferred to Portland, OR for his job. This was an exciting opportunity, as it would bring Iris closer to her family in Oregon and Washington.
Iris is excited to work with Living Room Realty, stating “This is the best job ever. It doesn’t feel like work. I work with some of the kindest people in the industry. This is where I am supposed to be.”
