A Home for the Twins

By Marissa Sainz, August 6, 2019

I met Erin and Jimmy though a great past client of mine.  They were living in a neighborhood that they felt was not safe enough for them once they had their first children, a set of twins!  We discussed ideal locations that would fit in their budget.  We were able to sell their current home in January and they decided to rent for a few months while beginning their new home search.

Jimmy loves mid century design, but knew how popular those houses are so he thought it was out of their reach.  This home came on the market with mid century touches that they loved.  They didn’t reach out to me the first weekend it was active because they thought it would have multiple offers and be out of reach.  As fate would have it, the house did not sell the first weekend and was still active the 4th of July holiday week.  I encouraged Erin and Jimmy to write an offer because holiday weeks are usually slow and this could be the perfect window.  They wrote and only one other offer came in.  The seller chose theirs and I got to give them the keys yesterday!
