Jan had looked at many beautiful homes, and some not so beautiful but located in the neighborhood she was hoping for!
The WINNER was a lovely 1903 Farm House in Alberta Arts!
Meandering through the shops on Alberta and the cozy homes all around, she was intrigued by this lovely farm house for sale. The east facing sunny front porch for knitting and meeting with the neighbors, plus the large west facing backyard with a chicken coop and access to the alley, were what she had imagined for her New Portland Life!
We put this home #1 on our Tour the next morning! Upon opening the front door, Jan said “this is the one”! Just 14 days later, after inspections and negotiations, she moved in!
Portland now has a new, 78 year old Wonder Woman Educator in the mix, keeping things diverse!
