Preschool pals

By Living Room Realty, February 11, 2019

One of my favorite things about having grown up in Oregon is getting to help out my childhood friends buy homes of their own. And with the ease of social media, it’s easy to stay in touch even over the many passing years. Sarah and I became friends at age 3 in pre-school. We went through elementary, junior, and high school together. We lost touch after high school, but we were able to reconnect on Facebook and rekindle our life long friendship.

Just like when we were kids, we found we still have a lot on common. We both have two kids(she’s got boys, I’ve got girls) and we are both badass ladies in careers we love. She is a recruiter in the tech industry, and we all know that we could use more women in tech. Sarah is making a difference and loving it!

Sarah and her husband Jason came to me because they were looking for an investment property. Looking for an investment property is different than looking for a full-time personal home, as there are a lot more factors to consider over time. I have a lot of experience, not only in helping out buyers looking for their own nest egg, but in running investment properties of my own. It’s a big responsibility and one Sarah and Jason took seriously. We found the perfect property in SE, where they also have their family home. I am so excited to see them continue to be good stewards for their community.
