Blog Buyer "The One", after "Almost The One"

“The One”, after “Almost The One”

By Living Room Realty, September 10, 2019

I met Noel and Cameron through our mutual friends Maya and Micah. They generously allowed Maya and two other friends of ours to stay in their beautiful home in Kailua, Hawaii that was right across the street from the beach.

Cameron grew up in Portland and wanted to be closer to his family, he was able to convince Noel and the kids that a move here was in their best interest. More opportunity for good schools, and a better jumping off point for Noel’s job which often takes her out of town.
We had a couple of strike outs when it comes to homes. They wanted to be in a specific area in the West Hills, and the homes are older there. After two home inspections that uncovered many issues with the homes, we moved on.
As fortune would have it, we found the home on SW Labbe and went to see it right away. Everything about the home felt “right.” From meeting the very sweet seller in the front yard who was kind and willing to talk about the home she lived in and loved for many years, to the gorgeous grounds and gardens. This house was “the one.” With plenty of space for the kids and a kitchen/family room layout that will be the heart of the home, this home had everything they needed.
