With the longer, warmer days and with school getting out, the time has come to keep the kiddos entertained for more hours of the day. One of my favorite things to do is check out Movies in the Park. It’s a Portland tradition and it’s always a treat for the whole fam. Not only is it great live music and a movie to match, it’s also a fun way to explore the different parks around town!
Pack a picnic and head out early to snag your spot on the lawn and then just relax for a few hours with the fam. It’s also pet-friendly(as long as Spot stays on his leash), and it’s a great way to meet fellow Portlanders. There are some movies that are less kid-targeted as well, so take the opportunity to get a sitter and head out for a date night or to meet up with friends. It’s a non-alcoholic event, but let’s be real, if you keep it subtle and don’t go acting a fool you are prob fine to consume something a little stronger than La Croix.
