Home Sweet St. Johns

By Living Room Realty, July 17, 2021

Sometimes you live somewhere long enough that you just know it’s where you want to be. B found that place in St. Johns and though he wasn’t sure he’d find what he was looking for when we started his home buying journey it all came together perfectly! The first house we looked at was fun, a little funky, and just felt right to him. But putting an offer in on the first house you see can feel big, really big. So we decided to keep looking so he could better understand what the market had to offer in his price range. As we toured more homes the house went pending, but he felt good about it – we were finding lots of things that would be a good fit. Then, as he was trying to decide between making an offer on one of a couple of great houses the first house came back on the market. They buyer had gotten cold feet and pulled out before even doing any inspections. It felt like the decision was made and we quickly put an offer together and had it accepted right away. The rest was a breeze – the inspector and contractor both gave their thumbs up, we negotiated for a few small repairs, and bam! B is in his new home. It was such a pleasure to be part of helping B find his first home, and I’m looking forward to seeing what he does with the new digs!
