Beams and Anchors

By Living Room Realty, July 13, 2021

One of the best things about Portland is that it still feels like a small town.  After a visit to one of my favorite home goods stores (Beam and Anchor) this past winter, I struck up a conversation with one of its owners.  What was a natural conversation about design, art and architecture led to organic conversations about our backgrounds.  Fast forward a month and I get a call from the owners asking to meet to discuss selling their home.  As a referral based Realtor these moments aren’t common for me, but I welcome them, especially when the conversations that lead to them are so natural.  Fast forward another month and we are on the market with multiple offers and a fast track to closing.  There are lots of details in between, but for the sake of this story, I will just say that I have been incredibly grateful to represent the Rahms.  They are magical people and I am a better person for knowing them!
