This townhouse turned out to be a sale that real estate dreams are made of. It wasn’t a million dollar sale. It wasn’t close to my neighborhood or anything like that. This was my first townhome listing in Oregon City and I’ve done multiple deals in Oregon City before but this was special. The seller is the fiance´ of a former co-worker of mine and the plan was to sell his home and then buy a home after their wedding. They found a home early in our search and we decided to list asap. This is where the dream part starts.
We placed the home on the market on a Thursday evening and by Friday afternoon it was off the market. We had multiple inquiries and showing requests. That Friday morning two people saw the place. Two people made offers above asking price. We accepted one and took the other as a back up. My seller was ecstatic and we moved forward. And that was the dream. Sold in 1 day, above asking price, a quick and clean offer. The seller is getting married next month and I have some new friends that I’ll get to see at their wedding.
