Blog Buyer A Slice of Heaven in Carver

A Slice of Heaven in Carver

By Living Room Realty, March 21, 2019

You may not know this about me, but I am a country girl. I grew up in Woodland, WA on 10 acres, bordering a lush tree farm and we had a gulley, creek (or “crick”) and a quarter mile winding driveway to get to my childhood home. It. Was. Awesome. My brother and I spent most of our time outside getting dirty and trying to stay out of trouble.

Fast forward to fully-grown me, now operating a successful Real Estate business, and I get a little giddy when I get to help my clients buy homes on property, outside of the big city. I understand and appreciate what considerations need to be made when buying outside of city limits. Septic drainage fields. Geothermal heating systems. Shared road maintenance. Privacy. I even know a thing or two about solar power and off-grid living. In fact, my parents built their retirement home off the grid in Rose Valley, WA on the Coweeman River. But most importantly, I love helping find slices of heaven.

On the Spring Solstice, I was lucky enough to close the sale for my wonderful buyers who were looking for a “wow” house on a good chunk of land. I’m pretty, pretty sure we found it. This incredible, custom-built, 4,500 square foot home sits on two acres in Oregon City. And, it has five mountain views. Five! I’m so happy they found this slice in Carver, and can’t wait to go to their summer BBQ. Congratulations, Bill and Christine!
