I had the joy of representing the seller who lived in this beautiful Portland home, in the heart of the Alberta Arts District, for almost 30 years. She is a painter and a sculptor with an active local following, who had the incredible opportunity to evolve her career to a new location in France. While the rolling hills of Southern France were too appealing to pass up, to say goodbye to her beloved stucco abode was bittersweet.
With the hope of bringing a new market ready look, she and I saw a natural inspiration to reflect her artistic experiences within the home as the vision for its presentation. My seller and I reviewed each offer, and she selected a lovely couple who had been looking for just what her home offered in the Alberta area. These buyers shared her love of art and animals, and they spoke about their desire to continue on in her attentive care of the very unique property. It was a great fit!
