Foster Area Business Association Hosts ‘In Person’ District Meeting

By Living Room Realty, May 6, 2022

Spirits are high as members and guests of the Foster Area Business Association are finally able to get together without masks for a “business mixer.”

After meeting in ZOOM for two years during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, members and guests of the Foster Area Business Association (FABA) gathered – in person – at the famous Bar Carlo, in the Foster-Powell neighborhood, on Thursday evening, March 24.

“We have not had a live event for quite some time; and this is my first ‘live’ event as President,” said FABA President Danielle Deschenes, a real estate agent associated with Living Room Realty.

“It’s important for people to get together, face-to-face, so we can unite with each other, talk together, and meet in person to build, or in some cases rebuild, personal connections!” Deschenes told East Portland News.
