Look at that kitchen… Truly the heart of the home with sooooo much space to whip up some amazing meals… Jonathon (a doctor) and his Partner David (a nurse anesthetist) both finished their schooling in Salt lake city, and wanted to move somewhere along either coast. After checking out a few places, they decided to move to the Portland area! They both got jobs in Hillsboro and embarked on looking for a home prior to moving here. I work with a lot of buyers moving in from out of state and got in contact with them. After a couple of chats to make sure we were a good fit, they flew here and off we went… Saw about 17 homes that weekend, made 2 offers… and came in as back up on both… It was stressful and disheartening, as we made some very strong and compelling offers…. but some of the terms we were able to offer just had some perceived weaknesses from sellers… Thankfully we stuck with it, and found a home the following weekend that was by far their favorite that we have seen… They really wanted this home, so we strategized and came up with some creative ways to incentivize our offer… and it was accepted! Now back to the kitchen… Jonathon’s favorite hobby is to cook (And David’s to eat), so to say they are beyond excited to start stretching their culinary imagination in this new kitchen would be a great understatement.
