Heather and her two kids have now a place to call home!
A lot has happened since I first met Heather more than a year ago. She was relatively new to Portland, recently divorced, starting a new job and renting in an overpriced part of town. We had started the process of looking at some homes until the Covid-19 epidemic came upon us and she decided to wait and see.
Fast forward 2021, she decided to try again. This time she had a clear idea of what she wanted. She found a development of good quality, newly constructed homes in Happy Valley that felt safe for her and her kids.
This turned out to be a great decision, because not only she was in contract right away, but she did not have to engage in bidding wars or offering over asking price in the crazy hot market we were dealing with. She just looked at the only two homes left and signed on one on the spot.
The process was easy from then on. The builder was very responsive and delivered a good product. Heather is over the moon to finally move in their brand new gorgeous home.
